George Betz, Broker Associate/Partner with The Group, Inc. Real Estate, has been honored by the National Association of Realtors as a recipient of the Emeritus Award. This esteemed honor is given to Realtors who have been members of the National Association of Realtors for 40 years or longer.

Betz obtained his real estate license in March of 1962 and began his career with Hansen Realty in Fort Collins. He purchased Hansen Realty in 1973 and remained there until 1987 when he joined The Group, Inc. George served as President of the Fort Collins Board of Realtors in 1972 and was selected Realtor of the Year in 1979.
